Ava Dobson’s journey from club karting to the national and international stage exemplifies the fearless spirit and raw talent driving the next generation of motorsport. With a career that began in 2016 at just seven years old, Ava quickly demonstrated her competitive edge, training with elite karting coaches and establishing herself as a formidable force in the world of kart racing.

In 2018 and 2019, Ava’s trajectory accelerated as she claimed multiple wins and podium finishes in premier series such as the World Karting Association, USPKS, SKUSA, ROK Cup, and the Route 66 Sprint Series. Her consistent success on the circuit underscored her natural skill and adaptability, and by 2020, she was competing at the Junior Kart level, where she finished third in points and secured podium finishes in five of eight events—an extraordinary achievement for a driver of her age.

Ava’s reputation as a top competitor grew in 2021 when she placed second overall in the Route 66 Sprint Series and competed in the renowned SKUSA SuperNats event, achieving a top-20 finish against a global field of 70 racers. Her performance that season captured the attention of industry leaders and marked her as one of the most promising talents in karting.

In 2023, Ava transitioned to open-wheel racing, contesting 12 of the 18 races in the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda, where she continued to impress as one of the youngest and most determined competitors. Her entry into USF Juniors presented by Cooper Tires at Road America was especially notable, as she was the youngest driver on the grid and demonstrated both speed and composure on the track. Ava also made her debut in the USF 2000 series during the final round at Portland International Raceway, adding another milestone to her burgeoning career. That winter, she honed her skills in the YACademy Winter Series for F4, cementing her commitment to professional development in the sport.

In 2024, Ava continued her rise in the USF Juniors with Jay Howard Driver Development, where she was the only female driver competing in the Championship,  achieving a best finish of fifth at Sebring International Speedway. She also made her European debut with a top-10 finish in the GB4 Championship with Arden Motorsport, further showcasing her versatility and skill on the international stage.

Ava Dobson is not only one to watch—she’s setting the standard for young American racers. Her blend of talent, determination, and fearlessness is paving the way for her future as a leading figure in motorsport.
